Road rage question

Hello; I saw a video of an older man being taken for a ride on the hood of an SUV today. Seems after a slight fender bender a younger man took off from the scene of the accident with the older guy clinging to the hood. Apparently got up to speeds of 70 mph and went for miles.
According to the news both men were arrested. I get why the driver was arrested but have not heard exactly why the old hood clinger was. So, my question is what might the old guy be charged with or what other consequences might he face? Note- this is intended to be a "just for fun" sort of thread.

My first guess is the older guy (OG) might be charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

I think they charged him with wreck less endangerment, Disorderly conduct.
The driver was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
 
......could they have charged him with attempted suicide?

Hello; Yes I get there will be serious legal charges although I did not know what the real charges are. I am thinking of silly charges or other things that might not actually happen but???

Example the OG (older guy) might get a bill for scratches and damage to the hood of the drivers car. Or the OG might get a ticket for abandoning a car on the freeway. Or the OG might be charged for obstructing the driver view. That sort of silly thing. Or the OG might get a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt.

Of course, the Massachusetts' news station, don't make much mention of the legally armed good samaritan, that used his handgun to neutralize the situation. He should be touted as a hero.

Oh no.....totally not in keeping with lamestream media's bad man with a gun narrative.
 
I saw both of these men in court today, on the news. The hood ornament guy is a man in his sixties. The genius with his foot on the gas, is a thirty something year old burly guy, with what looks like 20" upper arms. Claiming he fled because he feared for his life.
