As I was driving home today I noticed a turtle waddling across the road nearly across to the other side,I looked in my revision mirror and noticed he just missed getting clipped by a truck.So I pulled into the nearest side street,parked and bolted back to grab the little guy.When I got there the poor little guy had been run over..I was shattered.It was bout the size of a dinner plate.

The same thing happen 2 me about a week ago but i managed to save the little guy... it was also about the size of a dinner plate... Its in my 14' PVC tank...

i knew a guy who ate road kill, and stole from bins outside shopping centres....



he was such a weirdo, I regret knowing him.

That's too bad. I'm always trying to rescue turtles seeing how some of the species around here are becoming less common. 3 out of the 4 of my box turtles were rescued after being hit by cars. I've got a knack for fixing them up.
