Bringing up a very old post. My Robertsoni just kicked it. Had him a long time. Never got to measure him until today unfortunately. Surprised to see he was a little over 11" He was just over 11" long. He was just a little bigger than the diameter of my 5 gallon bucket which is 11".
Sorry you lost both. They were beautiful. I've always read robertsoni's only get 8", but my female is 10" TL measured out of water. Males do or should get bigger. Are you planning to get more?
