Hey i was just wondering if anybody knew where i could get a rock bass. I think it would be a much better fish to keep instead of LMB because they don't grow nearly as big. Thanks
 
instead of rock bass why not longear sunfish look alot better then rock bass and have the same attidude toward their owner as an oscar sound to good to be true well get yourself one today and find out...well i know this link sells lmb as well as smb and lots of native type fish but i was browsing and didnt see rock bass maybe you can find it

I haven't kept them but I know of a couple of people who have. They are really aggressive fish when they are larger than there tankmates. The smaller ones will hide throughout the day and come out during feeding.

I have not seen them available online so you may have to rely on someone catching one and sending it to you.

What type of fish are you aiming to get?
 
Crappie are some of the largest members of the sunfish family, black basses aside.
 
no, rock bass is the largest member of the sunfish family. You said so yourself sandtiger in your species guide thats pinned at the top of this forum.
