It's an article written on which rocks/stones play a role in the aquarium, good or bad. Also, most people don't think of this while setting up a aquarium, go to your local stone yard and not the pet store. The rock is a lot cheaper at a stone supply yard and you will find literally tons of selection. They also carry large terracotta tubes/pieces that often get broken, I have picked up a few large pieces of broken stuff for 50 cents a piece as well.

Thanks for the link! :) That is an awesome suggestion, something so obvious I didn't even realize.. Thanks a bunch! :D

Or for an even cheaper option, go to a local river, which is what I did. That is if you have one close.

I don't really trust t.o rivers most are heavily polluted, and support little to no life excluding some of the fish that migrate here. As well, you are more likely to find a brick or bike tire before you find an actual rock. It's a good suggestion for someone who lives in a "cleaner" area, given you take the extra precaution of boiling to sterilize before adding it to your aquarium.

I have picked stones from rivers before, it is cheaper than a stone yard sure, but you have to pick through thousands of rocks to get what you want. At a stone yard they have near perfect stones separated by shape, size and composite. And, the stones are clean.

I absolutely agree with that, +1
