Hi i have a 5 year old red eared slider hes in a 60 gallon by himself for the last 2 years hes only about5-6 inches long i have beach rocks that are about the size of a toonie each or well if ur not canadian well say like an inch and a half big each so he cannot eat em but lately ive gotten a girlfriend (im 14) and i dotn have tiem to clean it everyweek and iw as wondering maybe if i took out the rocks maybe the filter would get more dirt also i liekt he look of a tankw ith no rocks just the floating dock but seeing how hes used to the rocks will thsi cause him any stress, when i first got him i read all bout how soemtimes it sbetetr with nothign im just worried hes too used to it.?

Won't know till you try. Personally, I don't think he'll care...

Good luck with the girl, they're way harder to keep than turtles ;) Somewhat more cuddley though

i dont think a floating dock would hold it ,turtle will be climbing out onto an unstable surface halve in half out of the water it will be stressed
use slate pile on end of tank(side 18")drift wood in between (a bridge) fill water to top of driftwood turtle will sun on top
and find sucurity underneath hiding spot

Yes your tank will be easier to clean without the rocks in it. But seriously, it doesn't even take an hour to do a w/c in that size tank. I do a 50% w/c in my 40 gallon turtle tub everyday. Takes me like 10 minutes.

man i dunno what i does then becaus eit literally no joke takes me 4 hours haha and yes it shard with thsi girl shes in eveyrthign and almost every nigth imnw atching soemthign and in allk my sports and skidooing its hectic but i do do water changes but i mean to clean it out fully

and the turtle dock is the biggest i can get eh hardly moves it when he gets on it i dont think you understand what i ment i have veyetrhign already but i was just wondering if i coudl remove the substrate rocks that i have because they trap a lot of dirt seeing how they r big

One more question, what kind of filter do you have running? It is possible that it's not strong enough. Best thing to do with water turtles is to over filtrate their tanks. As you know they are extremely messy animals.

Glad you are still in school, maybe you can still learn to type and spell. You should be tested for dyslexia. (Not meaning to be cruel, you just reverse a lot of letters)
Take the rocks out, the turtle won't care.
