i have some rocks that came out of salt water and want to use them in a fresh water setup. is there anything special i need to do. i was going to soak them in a bucket for 24 hours drain and refill, and let soak for another 24 hours. what do you think

soaking them and then giving them a good scrub should be all that's necissary

do it for a few weeks, there are still living organisms living deep inside the rock that might leech out.

what if i put the rocks in really hot water for a few hours.

Then there would be dead stuff deep inside, but i think that would make the rock cleansing (i guess thats what u would call it) faster.

Boil the rocks, all shalt be fine...
