We took Rocky (my dog) to London (4 hours away) for her check up and her eye pressure reading was 44, it should be in the 20’s. So she is in pain and the drops are not working anymore, she’s on three drops 6 times a day. She is 100% blind so it’s not like their will be a difference but I don’t want my baby going threw this again even though the day she came home last time she wanted to play kong. Lol But I am not looking forward to this. She will be just fine though, our vet here will take the eye out. He took the other one out. I new this day would happen but still, hearing it tears me apart.

thank God that dog has a loving keeper.

+1. My mum is trigger happy and will put down any animal if it'll save her money...

good on you

Oh I couldn't put her down, she's my baby. Now I have a choice to make, he can do this procedure where he fills the back of her eye in with silicone but I worry about infection. I have a big decision to make. It's $2000 but my parents said they would help me out, so money is not the issue, I have money saved up for this too. So I have no clue what to do. Im thinking just take it out where their is no risk of infection but then I think this vet does this all the time and she could keep her eye. I just don't know.

If the dog is going to be 100% blind either way then take the one with the least risk of infection, looks are secondary.
I hope it all goes well, remember to put rubber/foam pads on the corner of your coffee table and the like.

i'm sorry. When will your luck turn back around? sounds like you've had a rough year.

What exactly is the game of kong you refered to?
