Thanks everyone. I talked it over with my parents and then we called the vet because we had questions. There is always risk of infection even if she had the eye removed. But the vet said there is a slim chance of infection if we keep the eye. He does about 2 a month and their has never been any problems. He is very honest and we trust him so we have decided to keep the eye. She is getting old, almost 10 years old, taking the eye right out is more pain for her, all the vet does is make a slit at the back of the eye and fill it. It’s over $2000, more then have the eye removed but it’s an easier surgery for her. I hope Im making the right decision. When he said he had no problems with it what so ever that is when we decided to go for him. She will still be able to blink, she will still have tears, be able to move her eye. I do trust this vet a lot and I think Im making the right decision.
