not really, its more of a he said she said type of thing, nothing has been proven as of yet, however..roger has been accused of steriod use in the past..so it wouldn't suprise me if he really did.

Ok, I get you now... So why are we laughing about it?

No question in my mind now. I have much less respect for him. I don't really care that much that steroids are used in professional sports. I am sure there are plenty of names that should have made the list and didn't. Just own up to it, you did it.

yeah, i'd have to agree.

i lost a lot of respect for him when he "retired" in '03..only to come back and sign with the astros...now..whatever respect i had for him is long gone.

but i will admit i was happy to see him pitching for the yankees in '07..but now..forget it...

I believe Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds should never enter the Hall of Fame. People may flame me for it, claiming that they shouldn't be convicted without a trial, the American way. In advance response to your opposition, I offer this: The Court system is only for your liberty, and is not a court of public opinion. The Hall of Fame is exactly a court of public opinion. The evidence is strong enough for these two never to be honored among baseball's elite.

we'll se what happens with bonds after his indicment. i personally think he should be stripped of his home run records and never be allowed into the HOF, same for mcguire..sosa..all of them.

as for clemens, i can't say i care what happens to this guy..his cy young awards are now tainted, as are his 354(i said 351 earlier, i was wrong) wins. if it is proven 100% that he never took roids, which i can't see happening..maybe i would change my mind...but like i said..i can't see that happening.

as a baseball fan i do hope the report goes in the direction of drug prevention, and better testing..it has been discussed before by selig and his clowns..and has gone nowhere...this report is mostly accusations..but i hope to see it develope into something good for baseball.

something that really pissed me off..George Mitchell is some type of director for the boston red sox..and not one sox player was named..i REALLY expected to see david ortiz..or gabe kapler..but nope.
WHAT DID YOU EXPECT, ABOVE ALL HE IS A WORTHLESS POLITICIAN.
HAVE YOU EVER KNOWN ONE TO BE HONEST

still, its an obvious bias that everyone is overlooking..i think this report is a joke to be completely honest..the trainer who gave names out was told that if he did not cooperate, he would face charges..so i don't know how valid any of the information in this report is..i guess we'll have to see.

but like i said..for there not to be any current sox players is just complete BS..david ortiz was hitting 10-15 home runs before he came to the red sox in '03 and has averages 40 home runs since...BULL.

He was interviewed by the feds for the purpose of this report, so if he lied, he'll face charges.
