Actually I had roo and it tasted like beef, a real rich beef. I felt like it was so rich it had to be artery clogging, but I'm told it's really healthy for you.

Yeah roo is red. Honestly the only things I have eaten that "taste like chicken" have been frog legs (closer to processed chicken in taste like nuggets) and rattle snake (only sweeter than chicken). Alligator taste like pork only a little sweeter and tougher as the whole animal is muscle. Boar taste like beef, emu not sure as I ate it in spicey sausage form, ostrich like beef, and tilapia like bass though I couldn't look at my cichlids for a while after I ate it .
