Rookie mistakes while trying to breed

Ace...I think you must have seen my recent post on my new guy!!! Am just looking for a female to him...Is he too small to breed now??? he is around 4-4.5 inches..pls post your opinion on him..
 
Great looking for a koky female.... Is that showing gold base ,since i could see him potraying some gold base ...is that so???

The eggs on the fader Flowerhorn and Midevil are currently eaten probably in 2-4 weeks lay again and see if I can take out the pot for them.
Wasn't a lot of eggs but first time she's breeding she's about 8 months old

So what do you keep your Temps set at??
 
That fader is choosing the right temperature too ..like the way she selected his partner:p;);)
 
my fader female and red dragon flowerhorns paired up and breed one time. soon as the eggs hatched she flipped out and beat him so bad i thought he was going to die. he lived and now he has patches missing from both sides and his kok. she won't have anything to do with him, and he's bigger than her.
