there i a 55 gallon tank if that helps

Yes, if the ropefish are of a similar size or bigger than the bichir.i have this combo, too. My senegal is 8" and my ropes are 2x12" and 1x14".

They should be fine unless your getting some really small ropes compared to the senegals. I don't think you will find any ropes big enough to even eat a 2" senegal.

They will be fine as long as they both have adequate room when fully grown. Sens are not the most aggressive poly just make sure the rope has lots of hiding spots

I have a 55 gallon tank with 3 rope fish, a ornate bichir, a dalhousie bichir and a senegal bichir. They have all got along great. The bichirs are from 2" to 5" and the ropes are 9" to 14".
The only problem that i ran into was the senegal got aggressive with ever one in the tank, even the 9" pleco so i traded him in for another delhousie.
But that could happen to any breed, some are calmer than others and then there's the odd nut lol
