Rope Fish or Bichir?

If you go with Albino Senegal Bichirs you dont have to choose. I miss these guys they would hang out on top of eachother all the time. If I had to choose Id say Rope fish they mine was much more active an entertaining

rope fish are technically Bichir.... or "Poly" (however its spelled lol) They just don't look much like other Polys. I really miss my Senegals. very active lil' guys. big enough to be fun to watch but didn't get so huge they needed a giant tank either.Either way your best of getting at least a pair.. but the more the merrier and more interactive.

I agree, mine are always together. They are in a 450 so there's a lot of room but they stay right next to each other all the time
