ropefish are great providing you have no gaps in your lid for them to escape - they are excellent at getting out of the tiniest of holes - had this happen to me three times. twice i caught him in time - it was third time unlucky :-(
those pictures are great! im pretty sure im gonna get a pair of rope fish and hope that the seller sells me healthy ones instead of sick ones already! i miss my old ones so i think ill go with those. i had a spiny peacock eel jump out on me and i was pretty upset because he was so lively! thanks for making my decision for me mfk's =]
Lungfishlover, I've read the other threads specifically on the topic an tried it one with a Florida far but never got mine to eat nonlive food and had to give him up. Did you get them already eating like that? If not how did you do it friend and how long did it take you? Sorry for the slight derail lol
