ropefish/reedfish tankmates???

plenty of hiding places, what about ropefish and poly? should they be ok?

i have seen them kept with kribensis cichlids, congo tetras, african brown knife, bichirs, apistogamma cichlids, silver dollars, and once i saw one in a tank with a sideneck turtle. it all depends on the ropefish though man
