good point. about the air. im not sure that they need to breath air but mine does like to come up and gulp every once and a while.

not too bad, they are around $12-$15 around here and the sizes are about 5"-12" whenever they have them in.

and on the compatibility, they will be fine w/ whatever cant fit into their mouth but i have read that they dont do well defending themselves or competing for food.
