I have a 40gallon tank with one asian bumblebee cat 12cm two l205 plecs 10 cm 1 golden gourami 10cm two rosy barbs 4cm 2 golden barbs 4cm and a
pair of swordtails . i would like to add a ropefish any info.

Hey The tank is way too small for holding all those fishes..i would suggest tank upgrade first..

Mine are already few cm over 30 and it seems they are still getting bigger.. Smallest bichirs (polypterus class) can reach about 30cm and even they are not so active, i still wouldnt put them in smaller then 50g (200L)..occasionaly they want to stretch muscles

thanks for the advice do you have any info on l205 plecs because i cant find anything accept that they grow to 11 cm .
