Not really.. They grow about 9-10cm and demand atleast 70L.. Imho smallest aquarium for fish is 50L (guppies, betta,..) ..in smaller i would have snails,shrimps,..

i had two clown loaches in a 160 litre still juveniles but they died fast . they began sleeping on their sides after 2 weeks and died shortly after.

Clown loaches have interesting habits - they sleep on side, up or down so this is quite common did you cycle the tank before putting them in? Could be many things - from fishes to water quality..

I cycled it completely and had a water change done 3 days before I put them in .
