I am looking for a constricter that won't get massive and doesn't require such a large enclosure like my sisters ball python. So far, Rosys, Sand and Hog Island boas have been what I've found that stays under 5 feet, no matter what gender, anyone know any others? Not only boa but python, although I've never heard of a dwarf specie.

Since the only snakes I've kept have been wild caught, and very not handleable, I would like to get something that is easy to handle. It would be a great change of pace after keeping water snakes for a few years lol. Also do not want something that will eat the cat haha

there are a handful of Caribbean boa species that would fit your description. Things like fords boas but they are all hard to find for sale.

Are you dead set of boas? Have you considered things like hognose snakes, corn snakes, king snakes, milk snakes, African house snakes, or gopher snakes? All of those also fit your needs and are easy to find.

All I can say is that hog island boas are not going to stay smaller than a ball python. I would say get a colubrid, so many choices, Chris has already listed a few.

I am quite dead set on boa, never kept my own contstrictor and I have kept garter snake, eastern hognose, Chesapeake bay water snake, and help my sister w/ her ball python. Rosys are just too cute. Plus I want something slow and easily handleable, unlike my water snake. He just is nuts. He's WC and likes to be pet once or twice but then bites. And shoots away lightning fast haha. A difficult snake to handle for sure.

I would be going for a male snake, no matter what specie seeing as though they stay smaller

Most ball pythons stay around 4 foot and are pretty docile. Don't know how massive yoursisters could be. You could always go the corn or king snake route

I'm not a fan of how thick and fat they get, that's why I'm trying to find some sort of dwarf or something

Buy a male common boa you can't go wrong, and stay a nice manageable size :) very easy to care for and extremely docile, other suggestions are dwarf Burms but these can be a handful, they can be rather aggressive, ever looked into blood pythons??

^ I was talking about the Ball Python getting too thick, i never heard of the fords, spotted, or childrens but I looked em up and they look perfect for what im trying to get, thanks for the suggestions!! So i think im going for either Rosy boa, childrens, spotted, or fords pythons.. whichever comes up first at the best price, anyone know a place to buy these guys online?
