Rosy Red Minnows As Bait??

are they illegal like comets to use as bait?? i live in MASS


i plan to go fishing early tomorrow morning(Sunday) so i hope someone can reply by tonight.

Do not use rosy reds as bait. Either collect bait yourself or get it from a local baitshop.

You risk introducing disease into your local water way, and baitstores are cheaper.

All rosey reds are is the albino phase of the fat head minnow raised by the gazillions and sold as baitfish at fish and tackle shops often mixed in with the normal color fat head minnows-Anne

As far as using them as live bait in Mass. check where you buy your fishing license they should know
