Rotkeil Severums

I have a Red Severum that is about 1.5 years old and is close to 7 or 8 inches already. They are not slow growers. I am also growing out 20+ Rotkeil fry for the purpose of breeding. They are about 1" long as well.

That's what I thought. I didn't think they took that long to grow. Just like an other cichlid grow like hell then slow down around 6 inches. What you breeding yours in.

I'm planning on keeping the nicest pair that forms in a 75 gallon tank. Then i'll more than likely sell all the rest.

Most fish respond well to frequent water changes and quality food. A 75 % water change daily makes them grow fast !

you should be able to keep 4 in a 75.
