Rotten eggs cause bloating?

Hi,
In what species you noticed that?
I possessed some Yoyo Loaches (Botia lohachata/almorhae) and they were chubby, probably full of eggs, but never had a change of behavior that indicate a weakening or symptoms like bloating.

A few people in my local club had that issue with Pelvicachromis taeniatus.

I've never seen, heard or read anything like bloat related to problems in spawning Kribensis ... Can you tell me if I was related to problems in the formation of the pair?
Is this a common phenomenon among cichlids?
