WOw.... your onestep ahead already..... keep it up.... i suggest you leave your set up like that... dont re-arrange things right away... like background, Driftwood, lighting etc.... just continue on what you are doing right now.... say keep it up for 2 weeks or a month and see if he will still maintain or improve his stablity.... always keep the water clean... dont make any large water change...
me i do 2x WC in a week.... 15-20% mid week and 40-50% end of the week....

In my experience and probably for other dat keepers, it's an immense feeling of joy, when an unstable dat turns stable.... And the colour of bars intensify as each day/week/month goes by:
