any rowers on mfk? competitive or recreational? It would be neat to find other rowers out there because it doesn't seem like that many people do it yet it's a great sport imo.

i row competitively for my high school. My boat placed gold in a junior 8 event and 2nd place in a 3V8 event at midwest scholastics so we are moving on to SRAA nationals.

Whats so great about drag racing a row boat? I wouldn't mind doing it for a day but don't see it becoming a hobby. If I'm devoting a large amount of time, energy, and money it has to be for an individual sport, I've been on too many softball teams were half of us were very good and the other half worked for our sponsor.
