The first shot is never used any light. It's true natural color.
I really don't like the restoring the color with hormone drug though now most Asian aro firm are doing that....

next 2 shots are took in good lighting. I used Tamron Macro lens 90mm.

now most Xback gold aros don't show true color..... I have seen many horrible results here...

Generally blue base Aro shows the best coloration when 35cm or so and will lose their blue gradually as they grow.
