Royal Green Terror

I was at a lfs and they had a 5-6" royal green terror, silver not orange and was wondering if I should buy it. It's only 14.99. The fish was really dark, not much silver on the dorsal or the tail. Is it worth it?

but if you think it's a nice fish i think you should buy it anyway!

Yeah, thats what a smart person would have done. Might go back Monday and get it. They're supposed to be getting in some small festae on Monday.

royal green terror has popped up on here before. its a sales tactic to get you more interested and to charge you more. its probably just a silver saum. white/silver instead of the orange on the tail and dorsal.

If its a silver saum snap it up at that price.

At my LFS a saum or GT that size would be minimum $45. My lfs is way overpriced because he can be. It sucks, but he is the only place with a good selection.

It has a thin silver band and that's why I was hesitant to buy it.

Silver saums dont generally have a thick band like the gold, id still snap it up if you have the room.
