Doubtful, any reasonably kept Blue Acara would be showing quite vivid body striping and be easily distinguishable from a Green Terror. They're only similiar as juveniles.
and even then they arent really hard to tell apart...

ive had both and when i read about the trouble telling trhem apart i couldnt believe it. they are incredibly easy to tell apart even at 1".
their does seem to be an awful lot of people who struggle though but i dont understand why. maybe it is easier when you have had both.

without pics no one can be sure.. but True Green Terrors "Ae." Rivulatus (silbersaum), are rare in captivity. they look just like the gold saum GT's except that they are lighter in color on their body and they have the silver edge on their fins.

probably can't tell till you see a male and a female together, but the females have thinner white edges on their fins than the males do.

I went back to the LFS today and bought the GT. It was better looking than what I remembered. It was definately a good buy. check him? out.
I really like the one where the gold saum is checking out the silver saum.
