Nice, but they dont look much different then a regular marble. Are they calling them 'Royal' cause they came in larger and simply showing more marbleing?

Your exactly right they call em ROYAL cause there larger and show more marbling to be honest I am not impressed with there patterns at all. ROYAL is the new made up name they use now

I thought so. The large male I got from you has REALLY colored up now and you could have easilly said it was a 'royal' and sold it as so.

The female with all the spots is also starting to marble up nicely. I suspect by the time she is as large as the male she is going to be a stunner!

those rays look like the ones Brad has.... They are definitely nice but i think i like the tradiyional style better..., the ones with larger spots and thicker black banding/marbeling

A 40 cm in diamater is around 1500 dollars..

I could easilly see a vendor selling these guys for $350-450 because of their size but $1500 seems like alot.
