Royal plec in 29g tank?

I'd probably feed veges more often but they'll chew thru a couple of small-medium sized sweet potato in a night easily, the tank is FULL of orange poo and sawdust the following morning so I limit the veges to the night before a big water change.

Stupid question... when you say you feed your plecos sweet potato, is it cooked or raw?
