As far as i have found on the web the caption that goes with it suggests around 36"
 
I'd hate to try to take that fish out of the net. snagged all over the place and probably not to happy either.
 
actually they are both only 3 inchs each so i dunno we'll see what happens

Happen to know what L# your royals are? Pics? You have the attention of royal lovers at your feet :)
 
I catch all my plecos by hand. Its really kinda kewl and you don't have to worry about gettin tangled in nets. I have to agree on aggression though, my royal will chase my pike, silver dollar, and what not if it gets to close to his side of the dw..lol.
 
I hear ya. No more nets with plecs for me either. Scissors anyone?

Nice L330 Peanut. I have one that is around 5 inches and a little punk, but since the Sultan moved in he isn't boss of the tank.
