Meh, I dont care for wardley either.
I do agree their other foods suck, but their algae wafers are different. the #1 ingredient is algae, and no crappy fish meal to be found in it, unlike hikari. I don't like hikari's wafers, they suck.

I have had the most success using the Hikari wafers, the growth rate is much better on hikari then wardley IME. THe best though is HBH veggie disks. They lead the ingredients with spirulina.

Does omega1 make algae wafers?

yep. dang good ones, too.
what plecos were you feeding? i've had the opposite experience. talking ingerdients, wardley is much better.

I feed everything from royals, commons, zebras, green phantoms, sultans, adonis, whiptails, and more. The use of algae at the top is not that great imo. The growth on my royal has been around 1" per 4 months using hikari, and that has only gotten faster with HBH disks (near 1"/3 months). Wardley was often rejected by the royal, and his growth was 1"/ 6-8 months.

ah, so it was your royal. I understand. i'm feeding my BN pleco, who is about 80-90% herbivorous, and you're feeding your more omnivorous royal pleco. hikari has more meat material, while wardley has none. yeah, I guess I can understand that. he should feed hikari or HBH.

O, so im guessing my 2" plecos arent gona be big enough to go into my 450gallon untill like 4 years?

Royals are herbivores, their primary diet is vegetable matter.

 i thought they were one of the more omnivorous plecos.
it could just be differences in metabolism of royals/BNs, or even just the personal preferences and growth patterns of the fish. my BN won't touch any animal matter, no matter how small a percentage is in it. wardley is the only algae wafer I have found her to eat after much trail and error, it's also the wafer my dad feeds his giant common and it's been growing an inch every 3 months for 4 years, it's now at 16" and counting.
