I currently have a L191 and a L330 royal plecos. Initially they were in a 120 and 125. However due to competition from other inhabitants the L191 was moved from the 120 to the 125.
I have heard they are territorial from one site, then social from a vendor. I don't see them fighting, but they are both showing signs of not eating - even though I put algae wafers in daily and feed fresh food at least 2x a week. I don't want to loose them, and am going to switch to fresh food daily, but need to know if they are just stressing each other by being in the same tank...2 females BTW.

There is a bunch of wood in the tank...

ZooMed has a deal on their mopani so I bought 2 large and 3 medium pieces from Petsmart and will pick them up after work.

Haven't had any responses regarding their compatibility from here or Tropicalfishforums.com, so I have 2 options:

1. Put a bunch of mopani in the 125 in the hopes it will break up the tank; then feed them fresh foods daily in the hopes of saving them.
2. Temporarily set up a tub for the L191 with some of the mopani and a Marineland HOB filter that is currently on the 60 gallon. Also feed them both fresh food daily in the hopes of saving them.

I did make a batch of Morning Wood and threw 3 substantial pieces in the 125, about 3x3 or 4x4 inches. The next day I saw 1 piece left, smooth and 1/4 of the original size. To be honest I have a lot of plecos in this tank, the royals being the biggest.
I also threw in three sliced zucchini pieces last night. Had an early start for work so I didn't see if anyone
ate it.
