Royal plecostomus

I got my royal plecostomus 4 years ago, and it grew only up to 6 inches and stopped there. I think the problem is that it,s not eating enough from the tank. I trid to give it small pellits but she never tride to eat them, those anyone have some suggestion what I can give it, because I would love to see it grow to it,s full size and space is not a problem because it,s a 300g tank.
 
try fruits and veggies. watermelon, cantaloupe, zucchini, sweet potato for starters. most drop them in at night (weighted down) and take them out in the morn.
 
More wood. I had the same problem. My is 17 years old and stop about 7 inches. I bought wood from ManzMan, a vendor here.....he looks like he swallowed a golf ball ever since! He is growing! A word of caution.......extra filtration and mantanence will be needed.....he poops a lot! Do whats best for him and order some manzanita wood.
 
Thank you all for your help. I will try to get some manzanita wood from the net. I found a web (manzanita.com) and will try to get my wood from there I just hope it`s not a froud. I will also try the veggies
 
manzanita.com is a stand up guy too. I never ordered but someone I sold fish too did and he was great. I personally asked some questions about his pieces and he got back VERY quick. You can't go wrong with him or ManzMan here. Keep me posted and let me know how things go,

Ok I will let you know when I get the wood, I saw a big piece that is 33x15x24 inches and it looks great I think it`s the one I will order. I Hope it will be nice like the one in the pic.
