i've been lookin up stuff for ages about royal pythons...but i havent found out what ive beeen lookin for...like best tank setup, what would be a good sized "tank" for them, can i feed them anything else besides mice rats or hampsters, just stuff like that.
so i thought i would ask here....
and if u have pics of ur tanks show 'em plez

What size you looking at... food wise and set up wise is different for different sized snakes.

a young ball would do fine in a 15-20 gall that is well-furnished. You would need at least a 40-gal breeder for an adult BP.

Their natural diet is mainly rodents, usually of the gerbil persuasion. However, feeding them hamsters and gerbils get pricey pretty quick, so if its eating rats/mice well, keep them on that.

Here's my setup for Royals:

Rarest? Well, I guess albinos are still pretty "rare," although they are finally being produced in large enough numbers that they are making their way into "everyday" type collections like mine:

And here's a really cool pastel that I hatched out this season...this girl is definitely a keeper:

nice looking collection. I just sold mine about 5months ago. I really miss them, but not the amount of food and cleaning they took.

I'm hooked...luckily I have a reliable supply of feeders and the upkeep with the rack systems doesn't take much more than 1-2 hrs a week of my time, even with 21 fresh hatchlings at the moment.
