"Royal Tiger" delhezi?

So I saw one of these for sale on here, did a quick search and to my understanding they are an Asian line bred var.? The site I found most the info on was recent postings on an Indonesian fish keeper forum, in the list was crazy things like platinum lap and "Lutino" Ornates along with a datnoid-like labeling for endli, wide bar thin bar etc

Royal tigers are usually dels with a lot thicker patterns and darker. Probably like you said selectively bred to achieve these patterns.

From what ive read its a marketing scheme for captive bred dels with a crazy pattern. I have a "royal tiger" delhezi.
