Royal value?

Royals can be aggressive towards anything bigger or smaller as long as they don't like it that fish can pay with damage or death. Recently I saw two of my younger 190's fighting both separated and didn't bother each other again. Until this morning I found the bigger one beat to death. No matter how much space you give them if they want to they'll find each other.
It's mostly my fault because I've come to learn that only separating them to different tanks is the only way to prevent this. I was just too lax this time and lost one if them.

I guess that sucks for my little barred Midas and pike.

They arrived alive and healthy. Been in the tank for about a hour maybe more now with no problems. All three have seem to chosen their territory and no fights yet.

Thing with them is most the time you won't have any issues but if they do start fighting separating them is the only way to insure it stops.

I doubt you'll have any issues especially at that size.

Good luck with them and post when you have a chance
