By the pictures it looks like the infection is clearing up. Judging by the algae it looks like that tank has plenty to eat without the cucumber.

You might try keeping the light off for a couple/few days. Plecos are more comfy=less stressed without the light (at least all of mine have always been).

What are the water tests showing you now?

Hey, she didn't make it. The water para is better. Ammo is close to 0
Nitrite-0, nitrate- 1 or 2
I guess I should have quarantine in a separate tank first or be more prepared.

That sucks, she was a great looking fish. But you did everything you could after the spike. Assuming the other fish are still doing good, there may have been something else going on internally that was beyond practical repair, possibly exacerbated by the initial ammo/nitrite poisoning.

Your bio load seems to be heading to sufficient range. When that ammo gets to zero, get another pleco

This time, if you get another large pleco, be prepared to do daily prime treated water changes as the added waste will cause temporary spikes in ammo, then nitrite, and then nitrate.

You might consider a youth pleco this time. The benefit of adding smaller fish IMO is that the bio load can grow with the fish = less danger of ammo spikes. I actually had to remove two 6" plecos 2 days after adding them to a 125g because of huge spikes in ammo and nitrite (they went back in after a couple of weeks of cycle balance and they're happy as clams now).
