So when I picked up my featherfin synodontis a few weeks ago, I saw a nice plec in his tank. I eyed him a bit, but the price was a bit steep. 45 bucks for a 2.5 inch fish... meh. Then the guy said he'd come down to 30 for me since I give him so much business and all, and I said I'd think about it (which really meant h3ll yeah!). I brought the featherfin home and got him acclimated and situated and went back a few days later. Bad news, the tank had ich. No spots on the fish, but Jared wouldn't let anything out until the ich cleared. I waited and waited, and had almost forgot about him until I wandered back there today. He's lookin clean as a whistle, and has even put on some noticeable size. Now hes home with me.

A sloppy pic for size comparison. Hypostomus plecostomus on the right @ 7.5 inches.

And some sweet in-tank pics.

Nice Royal. $30 for a dull-eyed is'nt too bad depending on where your at. Probably already know but make sure you have some driftwood in the tank for it and feed lots of veggies(zuchinni, sweet potatoe,ect.).

I really like the second to last pic!

So he is a dull-eyed... I thought so. Yup, I've got a nice chunk of driftwood in the tank for him, and I'll definitely feed lots of veggies! Thanks. :D
