Those skylights made an insane difference to the amount of light in that place. Your build is looking awesome. That guy is brave welding with open shoes ;-)

Its really nice to see a house without a six foot wall in front and cars parked in the driveway. Dont see that in S.A. anymore.
 
How's your dual sumps going to work? I have a dual sump system on my 450 and I needed to connect both sumps or one would over flow and the other would run dry. I connected them with a 1" hose and two 1" bulkheads drilled at the lowest point on the sumps.
I'm just curious what you came up with? Dual sumps is a great way to increase capacity. The more water in a system the better. Can't wait to see some updates :)

the 1st sump has 2x 40mm bulkheads set @ just below where the waterlevel will sit in it in its last baffle section, the 2nd onr as same 2x 40mm holes leading to its 1st section, that will be piped together using pvc pipe and barrel unions.

I'm working on building the doors atm, and need to get a hold of an removealist to get some prices on moving the tank from its old home to its new home :)
 
Had my rdo today from work so got some doors built and test fitted

Are you going to build the section next to where the tank sits up to the ceiling to make it look like a real wall? Or just leave it as it is?
Either way it's gonna look great.
 
once the tank is there i'll me makeing the next section, it will bolt to the ceiling and to the curent stand and then a full coving of gpyrock will go over the entire stand to mimic a real wall.
