At what size can you differentiate the male from the females. Mine is about 3 inches and still has all the stripes that go into the dorsal fin. It does have like 4 spangles in the fins near the tail but none in the tail.

Ok got some pics of the RT. It doesn't like to be photographed was a pain to get these shots and it kept fading out and darkening up as I chased it around the aquarium

From the looks of the dorsal fin it is a male.
