Other than an inability to pass up a free snake that will grow quite large, I don't see any reason we should be flaming him in this thread. He hasn't argued with our advice so far.

Really, then i would like to see updated pics of the Tokays, the leopards, the mangrove AND the Ball python. I am willing to bet the bank that he can not. And you had better believe that when the guy puts his eyes on a nice retic or burm the boa is oughtta there.

It seems to me like he's coming around. So why jump on him like that when he's actually asking questions and trying to learn rather than argue with everything we say? Walls, I believe most of the reptiles you listed were several months ago. Loco, it sounds like you're just being negative for the sake of being negative.

Actually, I've only ever flamed this guy once before, cause he was throwing insults at the people he was asking advice off...

Once we see nice enclosures that are NOT just bare tanks, humidty and temp gauges on the cages and healthy HAPPY animals that don't regurge because they only have one hide (which he should have known before getting the animal.. every one knows ball pythons are funny and need plenty of hides) not to mention that we told him to get more hides, we will be able to stop worrying about his animals.

How's he doing better if after about 10 attempts by alot of us, he still fails to put decent hides in. How is snapping up a free boa 'cause he 'couldn't possibly turn it down' doing better? Has he actually put more hides in for his royal?

Tell you what, LC, Post pics of your animals and setups, if your doing what we've advised you too, I bet you ALOT of money people will think alot better of you and HARDLY EVER flame you. Come on, do it, I dare you. If your animals are being kept as they should and it will stop you getting crap off people then maybe its about time you set us all straight?

Im not trying to be negative. I just have a 'you cant save 'em all' attitude when it comes to situations like this. Believe me, Ive tried... But c'mon. How likely is it that he got ANOTHER BOA and at the same time fixed his setups? Be realistic.
 
I'll admit I might have been too quick to judge, but I'm trying to have some faith in him this time, considering he hasn't been so combative on his last few threads as he has been in the past. That to me is evidence of change.

As I don't know much about Boa constrictor care, I don't have anything more to offer LC as far as this snake is concerned, but I've got higher hopes for this one than I did for all those lizards he got way back when.
