I was able to get only 2 pics that were not too blurry; I had to nudge him out of his hiding spot and snap a pic before he went back to it...:irked: I hope to have some better ones follow soon. Probably not good enough pics for an i.d.

Fortunatly this one is coming from the LFS of a good friend who has several in individual tanks that I was able to select from. This batch was at his warehouse for a week before bieng moved to the store so I selected the healthist one out of the batch and it's on hold for me. I was a bit worried at first because of all of the posts about health concerns but this guy stands behind all of his stock.

Looks like lima to me!

hey guys i was just wondering if it was better to keep sum redtail catifish with either red snakeheads or pacus. i cant decide! ahhhhh

well not red snakeheads. They might eat on the redtail if the redtail hasn't swallowed it whole first ;) Pacus is commonly used with redtails in public tanks so I guess if the pacu's big enough you would be allright.

Pacu all the way. I think they really compliment each other! Just be carefull of fin nipping pacus when not well fed.

lol thanks ill keep that in mind :s im thinking of introducing a jar into my pond community but i duno whether it will suit well with the 2 RTCs 2 TSNS and 2 clown Knifefish. If all of them are about 3 feet should it be ok? my pond just seems boring cause the catfish sleep all the, the knifefish hide all day so there is zero action. the jar could liven up the party....
