noobiesque question here, can 2 rtc co-exist with each other? like as grow-outs? then live in the same pond? other fish will be 2 tsn and a hybrid.

thanks :)

Am trying out the same comm, did some research beforehand and most people said that rtc and tsn make good tank / pond mates. Unless they are very different in size, then the smaller might become food. Best if they are grown out together, it will be best.
I'm just sharing my research, hope the info i got are correct.

Thanks for that mate! How's it going so far? I'm actually having them around the same size, only my hybrids much bigger,

just started also, still keeping my fingers crossed. Considering throwing in a couple of Pangasus Sanitwongsei also. Don't know if it'll work.

Yes you can I've kept 4 together. Just make sure you keep them all well feed and they all get equal amounts of food!!! How big is the final pond? Maybe you can throw in some other buddies to :)

Haven't really got an accurate amount on the final pond, I've got plenty of space to play with and no issues of cold water as I'm in a tropical country, as for mates I'm going along with what I have now, resources are limited here, maybe a few cons and tilapia to breed bait. If all goes well I'll have plans of the pond on by next week, just hope it all does go well lol

i know alot of people on here have said that its not good in a grow out because one always has to be dominate, however i have a rtc and a hybrid in my 30 gallon and they are doing very well dont have any aggression even during feeding.

The short answer is yes ...if you have enough water.
What's enough ? Maybe 4000 g
