RTC Compatibility!?!??!?!

hey guys, what is compadiable with an RTC???am finding nothing and getting really mad! Am going to have him in a outdoor pond 800gal and heated to 75F. I know some people keep them with other fish but only when there small. I might just consider not getting this guy at all!! but i really want to get him at the same time!! I have the time, and the $$$ to feed him and all that. But i really want tankmates with him!! please help, thanks in advance!

rtcs, tsns, planiceps, hybrid tsn/rtcs, big cats in general, larger aros like silvers(with a big head start), basically anything that wont fit in its mouth...

I think, you can keep what ever will never fit in its mouth. That actually means doesn't fit not just to big to fully swallow.

right....how many big cats have you owned?....you do know that rtcs get 4' right?...alot the people down in SA say that camain will attck and eat small dogs and children...in actuallity i think big cats take more then we know...i know i wont swim down there...in the long run the oscars and dats will more often then not get eatten...oscar big deal, big dats $$$...i don't know about you, but i prefure cheap cat food...

anything that will fit in his mouth is not a mate it has to be bigger by eight inches at least so if you get a four inch rtc you need to get a 12 oscar or something

i've kept big cats before, i used to buy channels, let them grow out of the tank and sell them $_$ from 7$ to a $40 fish=D ive had about 6 or 7.

it doesn't mater how long it is as a rtc will eat the same meal for a few days swallowing little by little...

oscar + rtc = rtc with a future snack...

or 12" oscar + 4" rtc = oscar eatting the rtc before it is eatten...

you sold them though...there mouths are not neerly as big... if you intend on keeping this fish(witch if you don't GL on selling as you may have to try to give it to someone) you should look to my listing of tankmates and mgk's and my suggestions...
