My RTC hasn't eaten for 4 days and his color has drastically lightened. Does anyone know what could be wrong with him? The first picture was taken 5/30, the second pic is from today.

change lots of water and hope he pulls through good luck

don't worry so much...my RTC did that before but longer...he had not eaten for over a week and was pale like your's...but once it get's its protein and all the nutritions and other stuff from foods...it should get its colors back within a few days...=] try other mixes of food that you haven't tried yet or try the raw shrimp thing and if it doesn't eat yet...don't worry it's the kind of catfish that if it doesn't get its food soon it will get hungry and go crazy and will come to sense that it needs food right away

whats the size ?? any other tankmate ???
hope he gets fine soon

Few things to consider,

What are you feeding it?
Tank Size?
Fish Size?
any thing new in the tank?
How long has it been in this tank?
What are the water Params?
i agree. also filtration. i'd start with a big water change and add some aquarium salt.

The water params will tell the story of the Filtration, doing a water change and adding salt may not be whats needed... although couldn't hurt, just better to diagnose the issue before jumping headlong into the unknown without having your details ;)

Thanks for the replies guys. To answer some questions...he's about 6 in, in a 120 grow-out rt now with plenty of hiding places for the past 2 mo, normally eats raw shrimp, has been extremely lively up til now, no changes in water quality, nothing new in the tank, 2 other tankmates (6" rtcxtsn and small pleco). He's still not eaten as of today and is even more pail now.
