oh its fine. nothing wron with a little natural food in his/her diet. thats what there barbels are good for. they like to hunt like food. but thats a treat right? i pellet based diet is best. saves money to.

redtails dont eat rodents. they feed near the bottom or in midwater, not at the surface.

well most catfish are bottem feeders but i hae seen bullhead catfish eat baby ducks that were swimming in the surface.. i also seen 1 swallow a lighter :s

but it isnt that unlikely that a rtc in the wild might venture into the shallows in search of food and in the process snag a smal mammal that fell into the water
