The risk with reptiles and amphibians is far, far lower than with the fish because they don't share many pathogens. With insects the risk is zero. Toads and frogs may carry a tape worm, so these I'd freeze before feeding. Snakes I feed to my fish as is but sometimes I freeze them too, esp. bigger ones.
