RTC Growth??

In general, what is the growth rate of a Red-tail catfish?

Faaaaasssstttt!!! Generally 1"-3" a month! Sometimes more(but not too often )

yeh crazy quickly...i bought mine at about 4 inches...after a year it was about 22 inches....pretty mad but i think i overfed cause it was my first RTC and i was so amazed at that bellly capacity

depends RTC useually gorw any were from fast to holy s*#t my ponds not ready yet they grow around 2-3'' a month and can grow to 2' in there first year if we'll fed and seem to need clean water or will devolope gill curl

if you watch closely you can see them growing

lol, well let me think got mine 5 1/2 months ago at 1.5" and now it's 14-15". This is the fastest growing catfish I have ever had period. I've had other RTC but they didn't grow as fast as this one.

so fast, it like you been power feeding it, like 2-3 inches or more a month, and they eat everything that fits in their mouth. lol
