i have 2 RTC i just saw 1 grab the other by the tail is it a fight for hidie-hole or will they eat each other ?

they can't eat each other !! unless one is way bigger than the other if they are almost the same size they wont eat each other its just a fight !!

are they new in the tank ?!?

yes they are 3 days in both almost 4 inches 1 is a lil bigger then other but only girth have been eating well this is the first fight i have seen

Since on your profile, your largest tank listed is a 180G?

If they're about the same size, they're just squabbling. If one grows faster than the other, then it will be quite capable of eating the smaller.

Maine? Out back in winter means death to rtcs. Best sell them.

hahahahahah its a heated pond i also have a generator for when we loose power i have been doing fish things for a year now and i will not let any die RTC are 1 of my fav's i ill find plans and scan them to put on my profile

Do you know the cost of heating an outside pond in Maine over the winter to upper seventies water temp?

Best check that first. Not trying to dampen your project but this things need to be thought out.
